18th Century Welsh Lambing Chair
A mid 18th Century, Georgian Welsh lambing chair In good original condition.
An example of a country made George II Welsh carved back lambing chair (circa 1750). The chair originates from Wales and is made from rosewood or yew with a carved back and flat seat which sits above a box base with crude drawer. This chair has been built with peg construction it features the original polish and rich patination.

This chair is in excellent condition. There are no splits to the bare of the seat which is common with these types of chair. This chair is solid in joint and free of wood worm.
