A walnut and parcel gilt wall mirror, in George II style, possibly Italian, incorporating some 18th century elements a Georgian gilded pier glass with later mirror plate, the framework with trailing floral detail, set beneath a broken arch pediment with shell motif. Unusually there is a hidden shelf at the base of the mirror frame, used for a candle stick or posy.

This fine mirror is of long proportions the plate is not period. There are marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Some old chips and losses also. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition. (Silver candle stick, not included)
